Location

The restaurant is set in the décor of the Jorat forest. Full of bandits, fairies and goblins stories, the Jorat is the largest forest in the Swiss Midlands. It is also a fabulous natural garden, providing for a selective hand-picking of sylvan products to enhance the dishes. During beautiful summer nights, one can enjoy the quiet of the restaurant’s charming garden, nested among the trees and the river Talent.

One can only be inspired by this beautiful and imposing Abbey in the woods, dating from 1142, giving the restaurant a sense of space and time. We are committed to work with products from the land with respect and rigor. We serve medieval drinks like the hypocras and aged chasselas from the Clos des Abbayes in the Dezaley (Lavaux region), the vineyard belonging to monks until 1536.
